Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! Some Lighting!
ALook Production Services brought the disco magic to DV Live’s Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! at the Alex Theatre in St Kilda, delivering a dazzling lighting and effects package worthy of a Dancing Queen.
With a tight turnaround, the team said Take a Chance on Me and got straight to work, supplying a comprehensive Event Lighting rig featuring M1H420W LED Spots, HAVOC Zoom Washes, Robe Robin LED Washes and OUTBACK moving heads.
A large mirror ball brought the Voulez-Vous sparkle, while Antari haze, upright smoke and low-fog effects ensured the atmosphere was anything but S.O.S.
Programmed on a Road Hog 4, the rig delivered everything from dramatic silhouettes to full-blown disco spectaculars, making sure the audience could Lay All Your Love on Me - and the lighting!
It was a quick bump-in, a big visual result and another successful collaboration with DV Live.
