Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to ALook Group services and equipment hire. They sit alongside any show-specific agreement or purchase order.

Bookings and payment

  • Quotes remain valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Confirmed bookings may require a deposit; balance is due on or before delivery/hand-over.
  • Late payments may attract recovery costs and interest as permitted by law.

Hire period and condition

  • Hire period is calculated from collection/delivery until the gear is returned and checked in.
  • Equipment is supplied tested and tagged. Please report issues immediately so we can remedy or replace.
  • Unauthorised modifications to equipment or cabling are not permitted.

Loss, damage, and insurance

  • The hirer is responsible for loss or damage while the equipment is in their care, including during transit and storage.
  • Replacement or repair costs will be invoiced; insurance claims remain the hirer’s responsibility.
  • Smoke/haze, weather exposure, or venue restrictions must be disclosed in advance.

Cancellations

  • More than 7 days from start: no fee unless custom prep has commenced.
  • 7 days to 48 hours: up to 50% of the booking value.
  • Inside 48 hours or after delivery: up to 100% of the booking value.

Health and safety

  • Hirers must comply with venue and WHS requirements including power, rigging, and access controls.
  • Only qualified personnel may operate rigging, elevated work platforms, or undertake electrical work.
  • ALook Group reserves the right to stop work or remove equipment if safety is compromised.

Force majeure and liability

We are not liable for delays outside our control (e.g., transport failures, extreme weather, or third-party outages). Liability is limited to the value of the services provided, to the extent permitted by law.
